On December 9, a clip was circulated on social media recording a scene where a traffic police officer used a special motorbike to carry a father carrying his young child who was having a seizure.

According to investigation, at 4:20 p.m. on December 8, Major Nguyen Minh Thai, an officer of the Cat Lai Traffic Police Team (HCMC Traffic Police Department) was on duty to direct traffic at the Mai Chi Tho - Luong Dinh Cua intersection, An Phu ward, Thu Duc city.

There was a man with a panicked face, holding a small child who was having a seizure, asking Major Thai for help to take him to the emergency room.

Major Nguyen Minh Thai immediately reported to the commander and used a special vehicle, turned on the siren, to transport the father and son to Children's Hospital 2 for timely emergency care.

It is known that the father was on the way to take his 7-month-old child who had a fever to Children's Hospital 2 when the child suddenly had a seizure. Due to the busy traffic, the father became anxious and asked the police for help.
