Realizing the life-threatening situation for the people trapped inside, the working group immediately approached the scene, opened the car door and brought two people (one male, one female) out safely. Next, the officers and soldiers used on-site firefighting equipment such as water hoses and fire extinguishers to control the fire. After 30 minutes of firefighting efforts, the fire was completely controlled, causing no human casualties and helping to protect most of the property in the car.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong (born in 1997, residing in Ben Cui commune, Tay Ninh province), emotionally said: “I was taking my relatives home when the car suddenly caught fire from the front. The fire spread so quickly that neither of us had time to react. Luckily, the brave traffic police officers were there to help in time…”.
