Specifically, on the same morning, the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 7 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Tung and Major Hoang Le Minh was assigned to ensure traffic safety at the intersection of Nguy Nhu Kon Tum - Le Van Thiem (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).

At around 10:45 a.m., Lieutenant Colonel Tung discovered a boy in the middle of the crowded traffic, showing signs of anxiety and crying, walking out into the middle of the road. Faced with this situation, the task force immediately approached, brought the boy to a safe location, and encouraged and asked questions.
The boy said his name was H. and he was looking for his mother. He could not remember his home address or his relatives' phone numbers.
The working group then reported the incident to the unit commander and took the child to Thanh Xuan Trung Ward Police to coordinate verification and assist in finding relatives.
At around 11:50 a.m. the same day, the child's mother, Ms. LTN (born in 1991, residing in Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district) went to the ward police station to pick up her child.
Ms. N said that today she took the opportunity to go to the market near her house and left her child at home to play alone, but unexpectedly the child opened the door and went out and got lost. The whole family then split up to look for her in worry, but breathed a sigh of relief when they received a phone call from the traffic police.
On behalf of her family, Ms. LTN wrote a letter of thanks to the officers and soldiers of Traffic Police Team No. 7 and Thanh Xuan Trung Ward Police for their dedication, sense of responsibility, and willingness to help people. She hoped that the beautiful images and help for people would continue to spread, strengthening people's trust in the image of the People's Public Security soldiers, serving the people.
