According to the Daily Mail , the old woman did not respond after being woken up by her husband in the morning at her home in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Her husband quickly called an ambulance and a coroner later declared her dead.

She was placed in a coffin and preparations were made for her funeral. Some reports said that while in the coffin, the old woman suddenly opened her eyes and the funeral staff discovered that she was still breathing.
After being confirmed to be alive, the old woman was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable health.
"After the funeral staff discovered that the woman was still breathing, the ambulance service immediately dispatched a team. The woman's basic vital functions were restored and she was then taken to a medical facility," ambulance service spokesman Martin Štěpán said.
Local police have opened an investigation into the incident. The coroner is said to have made a mistake during his work.
"We received a report of the death of an elderly woman, who was later found alive. We are looking into the circumstances of the case," police spokeswoman Michaela Raindlová said.
