Also attending were: Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet; National Assembly Deputy working full-time at the Committee on Citizen Petitions and Supervision Do Khac Huong; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van; and representatives of leaders from relevant departments, agencies and localities.
Informing voters about the results of the First Session of the 16th National Assembly , Deputy Head of the Standing Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of the province, Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, said that after 12 working days (Phase 1 from April 6-12; Phase 2 from April 20-24), with a spirit of innovation, responsibility, and high determination, the National Assembly has completed all the planned agenda items.
The National Assembly voted to pass 9 laws and 31 resolutions aimed at promptly institutionalizing the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the conclusions of the Central Committee, the Politburo , and the Secretariat.

At the first session, the Dak Lak Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies held a meeting to elect the Head and Deputy Heads of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies for the 2026-2031 term. Accordingly, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was elected as Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet and Ms. Le Dao An Xuan were elected as Deputy Heads of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.
The delegation of National Assembly deputies from Dak Lak province also participated in 12 speeches in the plenary session and 27 speeches in group discussions, focusing on proposing practical issues of concern to the local Party committee and voters, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and improving people's lives.
At the conference, voters expressed joy and enthusiasm at the success of the session; at the same time, they made many suggestions directly related to people's lives, such as: accelerating the process of issuing land use right certificates; paying attention to investing in the construction of transportation routes, power grids and social welfare projects in rural areas; continuing to effectively implement policies supporting economic development in ethnic minority areas; creating jobs for the local workforce; and soon establishing a system of allowances for heads of elderly associations in villages and hamlets.

Voters also suggested considering increasing allowances for village and hamlet branches and organizations; strengthening the dissemination of Party guidelines and newly enacted policies and laws; reforming administrative procedures and efficiently handling land and social insurance applications and procedures; accelerating the implementation of the New Rural Development Program; and strengthening guidance on establishing planting area codes for durian.
The opinions and suggestions of the voters were directly addressed by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van along with leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Industry and Trade, basically meeting the voters' requirements.
Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, acknowledged and thanked the voters for their heartfelt and responsible opinions; affirming that these are important foundations for the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to continue to better fulfill its role as a bridge between the people and the Party and State, and at the same time help the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to be more closely involved with the realities at the grassroots level.

The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his hope that voters would continue to support and share the experiences of the Dak Lak provincial authorities in carrying out local development tasks in the new phase.
Regarding the double-digit growth target, the Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee stated that the Central Government has tasked the province with maintaining an 11% annual growth rate. This is a challenging task given the many difficulties facing the local economy, requiring significant efforts from the entire political system and strong consensus and support from the people.
Regarding the handling of outstanding projects, the Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee affirmed the consistent stance that violations should not be legalized but must be strictly dealt with according to regulations, while simultaneously finding solutions to effectively utilize resources and avoid losses and waste.

In addition, tax policies on personal income tax, value-added tax, and special consumption tax are being adjusted to alleviate the burden on businesses and people in the face of rising fuel prices.
Regarding feedback on administrative procedures, the province will soon conduct a preliminary review of the two-tiered local government model to promptly adjust any shortcomings and ensure better service for the people.
Regarding infrastructure for the people, the province aims to complete telecommunications and electricity coverage for nearly 2% of the remaining residential areas by 2027, while prioritizing resources for key irrigation projects serving agricultural production.

Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, affirmed that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will fully receive and synthesize the opinions and recommendations of voters to promptly report them to the National Assembly, the Government, and competent authorities for consideration and resolution in accordance with regulations, meeting the legitimate aspirations of the people.
