Voters request that obstacles in healthcare and transportation be removed soon.

Voter Dang Minh Quang (Ward 1, Long Toan, Ba Ria commune) commented that after the provincial merger, many surplus facilities have not been effectively utilized, posing a risk of waste. He requested that Ho Chi Minh City promptly develop solutions for the rational use of public offices and facilities, and clarify the roadmap for rearranging administrative and public service units, hospitals, and schools. Furthermore, he requested that the city soon develop a detailed 1/500 scale planning map to facilitate housing construction for residents and minimize the need for multiple adjustments.

Voter Dang Minh Quang also expressed concern that the living conditions of the people after the merger have not improved significantly.

Many voters have reported difficulties in traveling from Ba Ria to Con Dao. Previously, there was a convenient high-speed ferry service, but now people mainly have to travel by plane or go to Soc Trang to catch a ferry. Voters request that Ho Chi Minh City pay attention to this issue and promptly develop a plan to restore or add a suitable transportation route.

Voters have raised concerns about overcrowding at Ba Ria Hospital.

Voters are also frustrated by the lengthy procedures for transferring health insurance coverage from Ba Ria Hospital or other medical centers to the Eye Hospital or Traditional Medicine Hospital. They propose integrating health insurance coverage to make it easier for people to access medical services.

During the meeting, Deputy Tran Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, discussed many specific issues raised by voters. Regarding the surplus facilities after restructuring, Deputy Tran Van Tuan stated that Ho Chi Minh City has a plan for handling them.

The delegate also suggested that the wards of Ba Ria, Long Huong, and Tam Long should proactively monitor the situation, visit the grassroots level, and listen to the people in order to definitively resolve the requests within their jurisdiction.
