On the morning of December 18th, at the Lai Thieu Ward People's Committee headquarters, the National Assembly delegation of constituency No. 13, Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, met with voters, including civil servants and members of the armed forces of Lai Thieu and Binh Hoa wards, to inform them of the results of the Tenth Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Attending the meeting were National Assembly deputies: Pham Trong Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor; Major General Vu Huy Khanh, a full-time National Assembly member working on the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs; and Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology.

At the meeting with constituents, Major General Vu Huy Khanh, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation and a full-time member of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee, briefed the constituents on the results of the Tenth Session of the 15th National Assembly . He highlighted achievements during the session, including the passage of over 50 laws and 8 normative legal resolutions.
National Assembly Deputy Vu Huy Khanh also informed that, with a spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and leveraging collective intelligence, the City's National Assembly Delegation had completed all the contents and programs of the Tenth Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Throughout the session, the delegation actively studied documents, participated in discussions, and contributed 257 opinions in the working groups and 168 opinions in the plenary session, focusing on major and important issues of the country and the city.
The delegation held a working session with leaders of the National Assembly delegations of provinces and cities to exchange views, unify perspectives, and strengthen consensus on the necessity of further improving and supplementing specific mechanisms and policies in accordance with Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 on piloting some specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, the delegation fully participated in the summary activities of the National Assembly's committees; and coordinated with city agencies to work with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the content of amending and supplementing some articles of Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15.
Regarding citizen petitions, from July 1, 2025 to the present, the City's National Assembly Delegation has received 523 complaints and denunciations from citizens. Of these, the Delegation has forwarded and is following up on the resolution of 204 petitions; filed 274 petitions that do not meet the processing requirements; and is currently reviewing and processing 45 petitions (91.4%).
Regarding voters' opinions and suggestions, after the Ninth Session and before the Tenth Session, the Delegation recorded 218 opinions and suggestions. To date, the competent authorities have resolved 62 opinions and suggestions (28.5%).
For unresolved opinions and recommendations, the City's National Assembly Delegation will continue to monitor, supervise, and urge action in accordance with regulations to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of voters.
Voters express their thoughts and aspirations.

After hearing the representative of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation inform them about the outstanding results of the Tenth Session of the 15th National Assembly and the activities of the city's National Assembly Delegation, and explain the opinions of voters submitted before the session, a large number of voters were delighted with the success of the session, and also expressed their trust and high appreciation for the work of the National Assembly delegations throughout the past 5-year term.
Voters appreciate that the representatives always maintain close contact with constituents before and after each National Assembly session; the opinions and suggestions of voters are always considered and thoroughly addressed.
During the meeting, voters from Binh Hoa and Lai Thieu wards also expressed many thoughts and aspirations to the National Assembly representatives, including concerns about long-standing issues that have yet to be resolved.
Voter Nguyen Thi Ngoc (Binh Hoa ward) submitted a petition regarding obstacles in land management related to Tan Vu Minh Construction - Investment - Real Estate Business Co., Ltd. (Tan Vu Minh Company). She also expressed her desire for prompt guidance and information to relevant agencies to resolve the issues and resolve the problems.
Voter Hua Van Sang (Lai Thieu ward) suggested that authorities should investigate and supervise disaster prevention more rigorously, especially given the recent flooding caused by hydroelectric dam releases, which has affected people's lives.
Furthermore, voters also raised the issue that workers are currently facing difficulties in accessing affordable housing and social housing. There is a need for more decisive input from National Assembly deputies regarding the development of housing for citizens and workers so that they can settle down and establish their lives in the locality, especially in the city's large industrial zones.
At the meeting with constituents, National Assembly Deputy Pham Trong Nhan shared that the City's National Assembly Delegation acknowledges the feedback and suggestions from voters and citizens. The National Assembly Delegation will compile these opinions to present to the National Assembly and relevant agencies. Issues that can be resolved locally will be addressed through written documents, requests for contact, and explanations and responses to constituents' concerns.
Regarding the voters' suggestions, National Assembly Deputy Pham Trong Nhan informed that guidelines will be provided to help citizens and voters understand the locations so they can go to the right places. At the same time, the Deputy also stated that after implementing the two-tiered local government system, Ho Chi Minh City has a special mechanism, but in reality, many difficulties and shortcomings still remain. Therefore, he hoped that voters would share the government's concerns and unite to contribute to the development of Ho Chi Minh City.
At the meeting, Vu Huy Khanh, a full-time member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs, acknowledged the opinions and suggestions of the voters and stated that the working group of the National Assembly delegation would fully receive and record them for compilation and reporting to the city, as well as forward them to the relevant authorities for consideration and resolution.
