The police in the Cat Hai district ( Hai Phong ) announced that a person using the stage name Miu Le is cooperating with the Cat Hai commune police in connection with a suspected case of illegal drug use at Tung Thu beach, Cat Ba island. This information, after being shared, immediately attracted public attention.

Notably, at the time Miu Le was embroiled in a personal scandal, the film "Blood Moon Feast 8," in which she participated, was still showing in theaters. In director Phan Gia Nhat Linh's project, the 9X beauty played a significant role. Prior to that, she had also participated in promotional activities for the film. Speaking with us, Mr. Dang Tran Cuong, Director of the Department of Cinema, said that the film "Blood Moon Feast 8" was granted film classification license number 14/GPPLP-CĐA/2026VN on March 30, 2026, in accordance with the regulations of the 2022 Cinema Law.

Many viewers were surprised, and even reacted strongly, to the controversy surrounding Miu Le's private life.

Currently, authorities are continuing to verify and clarify Miu Le's involvement with drugs. According to the Director of the Department of Cinema, the investigation is still ongoing and there has been no official conclusion from the police regarding the specific course of action.

"After receiving the final conclusion from the investigating agency, the Department will assess the level of impact to handle the matter based on the Code of Conduct for those working in the arts field issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism," Mr. Dang Tran Cuong shared.

According to data from Box Office Vietnam, Blood Moon Party 8 is still showing in theaters with 295 screenings (as of May 12th). Despite being praised for its fresh storyline and star-studded cast including Van Son, Le Khanh, Hong Anh, Hua Vi Van, Lien Binh Phat, etc., the film's revenue only reached over 32.5 billion VND, somewhat lagging behind other films released at the same time.
