Emulation Cluster No. X signs emulation agreement.

(CTO) - On May 22nd, in Phu Tam commune (Can Tho City), Emulation Cluster No. X held a conference to sign an emulation agreement, combined with a preliminary review of the work of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in the first six months of 2026, and the implementation of tasks for the last six months of the year.

Attending the event were Mr. Tran Van Chinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City; and leaders of the communes in the cluster.

Emulation Cluster No. X comprises the communes of Phu Tam, Thuan Hoa, An Ninh, Ho Dac Kien, Tan Long, Phu Loc, Vinh Loi, Lam Tan, Lai Hoa, and Vinh Hai; with Phu Tam commune serving as the Cluster leader.

In the first six months of 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations in the cluster intensified the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, organizing over 2,200 propaganda sessions with more than 69,000 participants. Social welfare work was effectively implemented; many localities mobilized and distributed thousands of gifts to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households during the Lunar New Year of the Horse in 2026.

Many practical models and projects have been implemented, such as building solidarity houses, rural traffic bridges, bright, green, clean, and beautiful roads, supporting union members and association members in economic development, entrepreneurship, participation in digital transformation, and building new rural areas. Specifically, Thuan Hoa commune distributed nearly 1,800 gifts worth over 833 million VND to disadvantaged households; Lam Tan commune distributed over 2,400 gifts worth nearly 1 billion VND.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and agreeing on the content of the emulation agreement, and proposing solutions to improve the quality of activities of the Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations in the coming period.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Van Chinh highly appreciated the results of the activities of Emulation Cluster No. X, and at the same time suggested continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, promoting the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements, taking care of social welfare and building a great national unity.
