Within the framework of the program, the delegation organized the painting and renovation of Ta Vat village school and Phieng Pan Primary School; examined and gave free medicine to nearly 400 people; organized book reading and cultural exchange with children; cooked snacks to serve more than 200 students in the area.
The delegation presented Phieng Pan Primary School with 1 water tank, 1 water filter, 30 paint buckets, painting tools and 1 school drum; and 8 gifts, each worth 1 million VND including rice, milk, cooking oil, fish sauce, sugar... to 8 poor and single-parent households of Ta Vat village.

Along with that, Son La Border Guard also coordinated to give 170 gifts including backpacks, clothes, and school supplies to preschool and primary school students in Ta Vat village. The total value of the program is over 150 million VND.
The program has contributed to improving learning conditions, encouraging students and disadvantaged families, and creating an exciting atmosphere to prepare for the new school year.

Charity activities have also contributed to deepening the solidarity between the army and the people in the border area of Son La. At the same time, spreading the spirit of sharing and social responsibility of organizations and individuals towards the cause of educating people in the difficult communes and villages in the mountainous areas of Son La.
