The program to meet outstanding youth and students from Ha Tinh in Hanoi ended with good echoes. It was the warm feelings of the provincial leaders, organizations and units; the joy of meeting Ha Tinh people in the cultural capital and above all, the emotion and pride of the children far from home when the province cared for them, fueled their faith, love and hope.

Provincial leaders talked and encouraged outstanding youth and students.

Now, as I sit here writing these lines, I still see the affectionate eyes of the provincial leaders, the bright, friendly smiles of the young people far from home. So, after much anticipation and waiting, the special reunion between the outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Hanoi and the provincial leaders took place warmly in the capital this morning (June 11).

More meaningfully, the program took place on the 75th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation. At the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , more than 200 delegates, including former senior leaders from Ha Tinh, leaders of the Central Youth Union, provincial leaders, organizations, individuals from the North to the South, and especially outstanding young people and students from Ha Tinh in Hanoi, were moved to tears with joy at the reunion.

Outstanding young people and students attentively listen to the content of Decree 140 and the province's preferential treatment and talent attraction policies.

Among the 150 Ha Tinh students, there are typical faces who graduated as valedictorians, graduated from university with excellent results; many of them are students and are core members of the Youth Union movement, excellent students of universities and academies; many of them have graduated and become young cadres, dynamic, enthusiastic, talented employees in agencies and enterprises in Hanoi and students who have faced difficult circumstances but always strive to achieve excellent results. Wherever they are, what position they hold or are studying, all of them strive to contribute, spreading the beautiful image of Ha Tinh people to friends everywhere.

And today, in the special meeting program held for the first time, the smiles, eyes sparkling with trust, and firm handshakes of the delegates seemed to convey the expectations and wishes of the homeland to the young people.

Hoang Nhu Quynh (an excellent graduate of Hanoi Law University, currently working at the Ministry of Justice) expressed her emotion and pride at attending the program.

Unable to hide her pride and emotion, Hoang Nhu Quynh (an excellent graduate from Hanoi Law University, currently working at the Ministry of Justice) confided: “I never thought that there would be such a special meeting, and I was one of the delegates attending the program. Before, during my days studying in Ha Tinh, I was deeply moved by the province's attention with gifts when I achieved good academic results. And now, when I have studied far from home, have grown up and are working, and still receive the province's attention, I appreciate that affection even more. I feel ashamed because I have not contributed anything to my homeland. This meeting made me think more, that no matter where I go or what I do, I must always be responsible for my homeland.”

Happiness and emotion are also the feelings of Nguyen Quy Dai, currently a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Chemistry (Hanoi National University of Education 1), from Tan My Ha commune (Huong Son, Ha Tinh). Dai is one of 137 students supported by the province's Hong Lam Fund to go to university in the 2021-2022 school year. His 4-year university journey has been accompanied by the fund and with the results of 2 years of studying in the university achieving excellent results, Dai continues to be honored to be an invited delegate to participate in the program.

“The day I prepared for the university entrance exam was also the day I lost my mother. Before that, my mother had a stroke and had to stay in one place for decades; my father was also old and in poor health. When I took the exam and found out that I had passed the university entrance exam with 27.85 points, I felt more worried than happy. My family's situation at that time was really difficult and if it weren't for the attention of the provincial leaders and benefactors, my studies would have been stopped. Throughout my studies, they always followed, cared for, and encouraged me. I will remember this kindness for the rest of my life and will never stop trying to be worthy of the trust and expectations that they and everyone had for me. I am trying my best to study and practice to ensure the criteria of the province's talent attraction policy so that I can return to my hometown to work and contribute" - Dai confided.

The pride of being a child of the homeland is not only present in every young person and student but is also clearly shown in the smiles of the delegates attending the program.

Coming from the far South to the program, Mr. Nguyen Phi Dan - Chairman of the Southern Ha Tinh Business Club shared: “Participating in the program, I feel warm with the humane policy of the province and proud of the image of talented and capable young people of Ha Tinh from all over the world. Regardless of the generation, the tradition of studiousness of the homeland is always inherited and developed.

In the near future, the Southern Ha Tinh Business Club will coordinate with the province to organize a program to connect with children far from home in the South. At the program, we will connect with typical businesses to introduce more job opportunities to Ha Tinh children. Thereby, connecting the bonds of solidarity, mobilizing human resources to contribute hands and minds to build Ha Tinh to develop sustainably. The club is currently supporting scholarships for more than 100 students who are struggling to overcome difficulties and study well, and many charitable and social security activities. In the future, the Southern Ha Tinh business community will always accompany, support and motivate young people to develop.

The meeting is a forum for outstanding young people and students to express their thoughts, aspirations and desires to contribute to building their homeland.

Young people also learn more about local conditions and job opportunities; mechanisms and policies for treating and rewarding talents, and developing high-quality human resources of the province and the central government. Sharing at the meeting, provincial leaders, sectors and units opened up many opportunities for youth and student delegates to better understand the constant changes and innovations of their homeland.

Ha Tinh is currently the destination of many large domestic and foreign investors. It is one of the 10 localities with the largest FDI capital in the country. Vung Ang Economic Zone alone has 153 domestic and foreign projects, creating jobs for nearly 20,000 workers.

At the recent conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and promote investment, the province granted the decision to approve the investment policy and signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation with a total capital of nearly 230 billion VND. This is the driving force and space to promote Ha Tinh's development, opening up job opportunities for workers, especially high-quality workers.

In addition, although there are still many difficulties, the province always focuses on nurturing and training talents; taking care of students in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties to study well. The province focuses on implementing Decree No. 140/2017/ND-CP of the Government on policies to attract and create human resources from excellent graduates and young scientists; issuing Resolution 46/2021/NQ-HDND stipulating a number of policies to encourage the development of high-quality human resources in Ha Tinh province in the period of 2022-2025; building a fund to support students in difficult circumstances to enter university...
