Early morning of July 29, Center 114 of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hai Phong City Police received a report of a house fire at 23 Nguyen Binh (Gia Vien Ward, Hai Phong City).
The Department's leaders mobilized forces and vehicles from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team KV1 to the scene, coordinating with on-site forces to deploy fire fighting.

After more than 1 hour of firefighting efforts, at about 3:00 a.m. the same day, the fire was extinguished, all 5 trapped victims were rescued and brought out safely, including the homeowner's wife, daughter, and 2 young children, the homeowner's grandchildren.
