Four suspects have been arrested.

On June 19th, information from the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police regarding the brawl that occurred on the night of June 17th on Provincial Road 759 (Phuoc Son Hamlet, Phuoc Binh Ward, Phuoc Long Town) indicated that the police have arrested 4 suspects, including one who surrendered.

Previously, as reported by Thanh Nien newspaper, at around 10 PM on June 17th, local residents unexpectedly discovered two groups fighting on Provincial Road 759, in Phuoc Son Hamlet, Phuoc Binh Ward. Nguyen Hoang Tan (31 years old, residing in Phuoc Long Town) died on the spot, while Phung Minh Man (34 years old, residing in Phuoc Long Town) suffered serious injuries and was subsequently taken to the hospital by local residents.

Upon receiving the report, the Phuoc Long Town Police, in coordination with the Criminal Investigation Department and the Forensic Technical Department of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police, and the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Procuracy, conducted a scene investigation, a post-mortem examination, and pursued the suspects.

According to the initial investigation, on the evening of June 17th, Phung Minh Man was driving a motorbike carrying Nguyen Hoang Tan on provincial road DT.759, heading from Phu Rieng district towards Phuoc Long town.

When they reached Phuoc Son Hamlet (Phuoc Binh Ward), Man and Tan were overtaken and blocked by four young men on two motorbikes traveling in the same direction. The four men then dismounted and attacked Tan and Man with weapons. Tan managed to run a short distance before collapsing on the roadside and dying. Man sustained serious injuries and was taken by locals to the Phuoc Long Town Medical Center for emergency treatment and later transferred to Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) for further treatment. After committing the crime, the group of young men quickly fled the scene.

Four suspects have been taken into custody.

Through investigation, the police identified Doan Hoang Nam (22 years old); Nguyen Duy Quyen (23 years old); Vo Tran Trung Nam (22 years old, all residing in Phuoc Long town) and Nguyen Tien Cong (19 years old) as the four suspects directly responsible for the aforementioned murder.

After more than a day of pursuit, at 6:00 AM on June 19th, the Criminal Police Department of Binh Phuoc Provincial Police, in coordination with the Police of Phuoc Long Town and Binh Long Town, arrested Hoang Nam, Trung Nam, and Tien Cong while they were hiding in a guesthouse in Thanh Phu Commune, Binh Long Town. Nguyen Duy Quyen, however, surrendered to the police on the morning of June 19th.
