During the night and early morning of October 23rd, the weather in central Da Nang was quite cool, cloudy, with scattered rain. People's daily activities and business continued as normal.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Hoang, a resident of Cam Le ward, said that since yesterday evening he had been clearing his belongings in front of his shop and moving his vehicle to "hide from the storm".

The whole family was anxiously awaiting rain, but the sky remained dry in the morning. Even so, everyone was cautious, as they had heard there was still a possibility of heavy rain from the storm.

According to the Central Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Station, scattered rain and showers occurred in Da Nang city over the past 24 hours. The total rainfall from 1:00 AM on October 22nd to 1:00 AM on October 23rd was generally below 15mm.

The forecast for today, October 23rd, indicates rain, moderate rain, and in some places heavy rain in the communes and wards of the city.

From tonight, October 23rd, to the morning of October 25th, there will be moderate to heavy rain, with very heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas.

Total rainfall in communes and wards in the plains is generally 150-300mm, with some areas exceeding 350mm; in communes and wards in the southern mountainous region, it is generally 150-350mm, with some areas exceeding 400mm. Additionally, communes and wards in the northwestern mountainous region receive 100-200mm, with some areas exceeding 250mm.

Specifically, the Central Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Station warned of the need to be prepared for heavy rain with an intensity exceeding 100mm/3 hours from the night of October 23rd to the morning of October 25th, and forecasts that from the afternoon and night of October 25th, Da Nang city will continue to experience moderate rain, with some areas experiencing heavy rain, very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with total rainfall generally ranging from 30-70mm, and some areas exceeding 100mm.
