Da Nang aims to become an international medical tourism hub.

DNO - On the morning of November 12th, Lion Huynh Tran Co., Ltd. collaborated with the Da Nang Investment Promotion Support Center (IPA Da Nang) to organize the Da Nang Global Business 2025 conference with the theme "Unlocking the Future of Medical and Health Tourism: Innovation - Creativity - Global Connection".

Over 200 delegates, including leaders from international hospitals, healthcare professionals, representatives from technology corporations, and tourism businesses, attended the workshop.

With a vision to build a comprehensive medical tourism ecosystem, delegates focused their discussions on three key directions: affirming Da Nang's position as a reputable medical destination; expanding international cooperation between healthcare facilities, technology, and tourism; and attracting investment resources for modern medical infrastructure, healthcare services, and digital transformation.

Experts share trends in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, the development of smart healthcare ecosystems, and experiences in medical tourism as seen from leading markets in Asia.

At the workshop, the Da Nang City Investment Promotion Support Center provided information on the potential and development direction of medical tourism in the city.

Da Nang has a diverse network of public and private healthcare facilities, which are gradually meeting international standards, along with a team of highly skilled and experienced doctors and medical staff.

Diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation, healthcare, and beauty centers are also receiving increasing investment and expansion, creating the foundation for the formation of a complete and professional medical tourism service chain.

The city has issued a plan for the development of medical tourism until 2030, with a vision to 2050, aiming to build Da Nang into a safe, modern destination that brings together high-quality medical services and unique tourism experiences...

The workshop is not only a professional forum but also a bridge for cooperation between management agencies, experts, hospitals, tourism businesses, and domestic and foreign investors. This is also a concrete step for Da Nang in realizing its medical tourism development plan for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2050.
