Da Nang aims to become an international medical tourism center

DNO - On the morning of November 12, Lion Huynh Tran Company Limited coordinated with the Danang Investment Promotion Support Center (IPA Danang) to organize the Danang 2025 global business conference with the theme "Unlocking the future of medical and wellness tourism: innovation - creativity - global connection".

More than 200 delegates including leaders of international hospitals, medical experts, representatives of technology corporations and tourism businesses attended the conference.

With the vision of building a comprehensive medical tourism ecosystem, delegates focused on discussing three key orientations: affirming Da Nang's position as a prestigious medical destination; expanding international cooperation between medical facilities - technology - tourism; attracting investment resources for modern medical infrastructure, health care services and digital transformation.

Experts share trends in applying artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, developing smart healthcare ecosystems, and medical tourism experiences from leading Asian markets.

At the workshop, the Investment Promotion Support Center of Da Nang city informed about the potential and development orientation of medical tourism in the city.

Da Nang has a diverse network of public and private healthcare facilities, gradually reaching international standards, with a team of highly qualified and experienced doctors and medical staff.

Diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation, health care and beauty centers are also increasingly invested in and expanded; creating the premise for the formation of a complete and professional medical tourism service chain.

The city has issued a plan to develop medical tourism until 2030, with a vision to 2050, with the goal of building Da Nang into a safe, modern destination, converging high-quality medical services and unique tourism experiences...

The workshop is not only a professional forum, but also a bridge for cooperation between management agencies, experts, hospitals, tourism businesses and domestic and foreign investors. This is also a specific step of Da Nang in the process of realizing the medical tourism development plan for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
