In addition, shopping malls, supermarkets, and service establishments in the city will implement a "Happy Hour" program with discounts or special offers during off-peak hours/days, helping tourists experience the most diverse range of services.
To date, the Department of Tourism has coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Information and Communications, and the People's Committees of districts and communes to attract more than 200 tourism service providers to participate.

Stimulating demand in key markets
According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang City Department of Tourism, the organizing committee will utilize currently popular platforms such as Kkday and Naver to implement a direct stimulus program targeting key international markets including South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

"Through collaboration with social media platforms to implement this year's tourism stimulus program, the city's tourism industry hopes to boost its communication and promotional campaign in a synchronized and effective manner, spreading the image of Da Nang as an attractive, safe, and hospitable destination along with its unique tourism products and services to domestic and international tourists, so that visitors can enjoy and share exciting moments, emotions, and experiences about Da Nang."
"At the same time, this is also an opportunity to directly promote brands, products, and services for businesses through free service experiences for customers, thereby promoting the recovery of tourism activities and stimulating demand to attract tourists to the city," said Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Ngo Thi Kim Yen said that in the first quarter of 2023, the city's tourism activities achieved impressive figures, with the number of guests served by accommodation establishments estimated at over 1.42 million.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is a special event during the peak season to stimulate tourism.
The total number of international and domestic flights to the city in the first quarter of 2023 is estimated at 9,300, carrying over 1.47 million passengers. New international routes have been launched, including: Da Nang - Macau; Da Nang - Narita (Japan), and Da Nang - Vientiane (Laos).
"The 'Enjoy Da Nang 2023' program will widely promote Da Nang as a tourist destination through various channels, striving to achieve the 2023 plan and fully restore tourism-related activities in the city. We believe that this tourism stimulus program will be the first impetus to launch a series of attractive events and festivals to attract visitors," shared Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Yen, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City.
