Accordingly, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center and OTAs are committed to working together on three major axes: diversifying local product portfolios on platforms other than accommodation and transportation; developing long-term communication plans associated with the city's annual event calendar such as: DIFF, Enjoy Da Nang, International Marathon and implementing creative communication with KOLs, travel bloggers, game shows, vlogs, online series to break through coverage among young tourists.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that in 2024, the number of searches and bookings of services to Da Nang via OTAs will increase by 30-35%, contributing to expanding the market and attracting international visitors.

In the first 7 months of the year, the city welcomed 4.2 million international visitors and 6.5 million domestic visitors. During the period of August 29 - September 2 alone, Da Nang had an average of 145 flights per day, an increase of 26.5% over the same period.

This growth is associated with changes in travel behavior, in which OTA platforms such as Traveloka, Klook, and Booking.com have become effective channels to help Da Nang reach and attract tourists.
