Tonight, the intersection of lights in the sky over the Han River will officially be illuminated by the first series of fireworks, marking the opening of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2026) with the theme "United Horizons".
The fireworks display site at the old Han River port and the giant dome stage (over 40m) integrating LED matrix and multi-layered laser technology have completed their final technical checks and are ready for the opening night, promising to maximize the spectacle of the aerial performances. At the grandstands and main stages along Tran Hung Dao Street, hundreds of engineers, workers, and technology experts are busily reviewing the final technical details.
The opening night is always the center of attention for enthusiasts. Tonight's fireworks display will be a showdown between the best of the host country and the country considered the "cradle" of world fireworks. That is: the host team Da Nang (Vietnam) and the reigning champion China (Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display).
After years of accumulating experience and honing their skills on the international stage, the host team from Da Nang (Vietnam) is expected to present a completely new scenario. Their performance will tell the story of the poetic and romantic city on the Han River through a combination of light and music , evoking pride through images of iconic bridges, ocean waves, and a youthful, dynamic lifestyle.
