Da Nang shines brightly in the grand fireworks display on the opening night of DIFF 2026.

DANANG - On the evening of May 30th, along the Han River, tens of thousands of locals and tourists witnessed the spectacular opening night of DIFF 2026 with breathtaking fireworks displays, combined with music, light, and unique artistic performances by the host team Da Nang (Vietnam) and the defending champion China. Here are some impressive moments from this colorful festival.

With the theme "Nature," the opening night of DIFF 2026 marked the beginning of a six-night fireworks display running from May 30th to July 11th. Against the backdrop of the Han River, the Da Nang team (Vietnam) and the Chinese team presented two distinct artistic narratives, both celebrating the beauty of nature and spreading messages of harmony between humans and the environment, as well as the aspiration for borderless connection.
