With numerous Vietnamese-Japanese cultural and artistic exchange activities interwoven throughout the day, the 2025 Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Program at Dong A University is open to all students and high school students in Da Nang City to learn about Japanese culture, people, and language.
The 2025 Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Program at Dong A University will feature many unique activities.
Mr. Mori Takero acknowledged the diligent and persistent organization and congratulated Dong A University on the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange event at the university. Along with vibrant cultural exchange activities, Dong A University has developed a network of partners including 8 provinces and cities, 13 universities and academies, and more than 130 large and small corporations and businesses, providing excellent support for students' post-graduation employment.
Many former students of Dong A University have found employment and built successful careers at businesses in Japan or Japanese businesses in Vietnam. Mr. Mori Takero expressed his hope that students and high school students will appreciate the beauty of Japan and the beauty of the Vietnam-Japan relationship through this program.
According to Dr. Ngo Quang Vinh, Vice Rector of Dong A University, the program has had a strong impact on students, especially by providing them with an additional "channel" to learn about and explore Japanese culture, people, and language through a series of lively exchange activities throughout the day. This has contributed to strengthening cooperative and friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.
At this year's program, an additional 16 Vietnam-Japan bridging scholarships were awarded to students participating in a one-year internship program in Japan starting in the second quarter of 2025. The total value of these scholarships amounts to nearly 70 million VND, in addition to ongoing support throughout the students' Japanese language and professional studies before departure, as well as during their internship and work in Japan.
Accordingly, Omdo (Japan), a legal entity specializing in overseas human resource development, has awarded scholarships worth 3-5 million VND each to students in Tourism , Automotive Engineering Technology, Nursing, and Japanese Language majors to participate in internships at Japanese partner companies.
