Highlights of the play "Straw" on the ripe rice fields in Hoi An

Arabesque Vietnam is one of the first private contemporary dance companies in Ho Chi Minh City, founded in 2008 by choreographer Nguyen Tan Loc, developing a variety of ballet, neo-classical and contemporary dance genres.

Arabesque Vietnam is known to audiences for plays such as Morning Dew, The Ballerina, The Story of the Shoes, Moc, The Winter Night, etc. In addition, for many years, Arabesque Vietnam has collaborated with the City's Performing Arts and Cinema Center (Saigon Concert) to co-organize a series of international contemporary dance festivals connecting art troupes and international artists from many countries .

Arabesque's dance language is a blend of classical and modern, which has created its own special dance language, expressing aspects of Vietnamese culture in a new and unique modern style.
