Arabesque Vietnam is one of the first private contemporary dance companies in Ho Chi Minh City, established in 2008 by choreographer Nguyen Tan Loc, developing a diverse range of dance genres including ballet, neoclassical, and contemporary.
Arabesque Vietnam is known to audiences for performances such as "Morning Dew," "The Ballerina," "The Story of the Shoes," "Wood," "The Winter Night," etc. In addition, for many years, Arabesque Vietnam has collaborated with the Saigon Concert Center (Saigon Concert) to co-organize a series of international contemporary dance festivals, connecting art troupes and international artists from many countries .
Arabesque's dance language is a blend of classical and modern styles, a fusion that creates its own unique dance language, expressing aspects of Vietnamese culture in a novel and distinctive modern style. "Straw" is another milestone for Arabesque in its journey of fostering a love for dance, with the aspiration to bring Vietnamese dance and culture closer to art lovers both domestically and internationally.
