An Giang Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Hoi An commune

On August 20, the delegation of An Giang Provincial People's Council and Hoi An commune had a meeting with more than 80 voters of Hoi An commune, after the mid-year meeting of 2025.

At the meeting, delegates of the People's Council of An Giang province and Hoi An commune briefly reported to voters on the socio -economic development situation in the first 6 months of the year and the development plan for the last 6 months of 2025.

Voters in Hoi An commune proposed to solve the environmental pollution of rivers, canals, and streams and the encroachment of traffic corridors; there should be stricter management policies in production and business, to combat counterfeit goods, fake goods, and widespread advertising and sale of products of unknown origin on the market.

The recommendations within the authority of the People's Council of An Giang province and Hoi An commune were explained at the meeting; the opinions and recommendations beyond the authority were recorded by the delegates and forwarded to the relevant agencies for consideration, resolution and response to voters as soon as possible.
