On the afternoon of September 21, comrade Tran Thi Hong Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Member of the National Assembly 's Law Committee, met with voters residing in residential group 18, Bac Son ward, Tam Diep city.
Also attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, a number of provincial departments and branches; Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; leaders of Tam Diep city, Bac Son ward and a large number of voters of residential group 18.
At the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Tran Thi Hong Thanh informed voters about the expected program and content of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Accordingly, the session is expected to last 25 days, opening on October 23 and closing on November 29; in which the National Assembly will focus on reviewing and approving 9 draft laws and giving opinions on 8 other draft laws, and deciding on many important issues.
Regarding the results of the implementation of the action program of the delegates, comrade Tran Thi Hong Thanh affirmed that she had seriously fulfilled the promises and commitments in the Action Program; fully and responsibly attended the sessions of the National Assembly. Maintained close contact with voters, listened to, learned about their thoughts and aspirations, and promptly and honestly reflected their legitimate opinions, recommendations and aspirations to the National Assembly, the Government, and relevant agencies at the central and local levels. Speaking at the meeting, voters of residential group 18, Bac Son ward highly appreciated the innovation and improvement of the quality of the National Assembly's activities in recent times. In addition, voters also proposed issues of concern, requesting the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, central and local branches to consider.

Specifically, in the legal field, voters suggested strengthening patrols, controlling and strictly handling violations of traffic safety; closely inspecting driver licensing training; increasing penalties for drivers with high alcohol concentrations who cause traffic accidents; and limiting alcohol advertising to help reduce the harmful effects caused by alcohol.
Strengthen propaganda to raise people's awareness of the law; regularly inform people about the methods and tricks of criminals who commit fraud and appropriation of property via the Internet so that people can be vigilant, proactively prevent and actively denounce crimes.
Regarding policies and regimes, voters suggested that the National Assembly should have more specific regulations on recruitment and treatment of talented people; pay attention to salary reform policies; improve treatment for cadres working at the grassroots level; increase pensions for those who retired before 1993; regarding new regulations in the draft Labor Code (amended), especially regulations on increasing retirement age, changing working hours and regulations related to overtime, voters suggested that it is necessary to organize a wide consultation among the people, the business community, relevant organizations and units.
In the health sector, voters suggested increasing investment in infrastructure for hospitals, especially at lower levels; promoting management, professional and ethical training for medical staff to help reduce pressure on upper-level hospitals, and improve the quality of health care for the people.
Regarding the environment, voters suggested that there should be regulations to limit and eventually ban the import of raw materials for the production of plastic products to more effectively implement the movement against plastic waste.
In addition, voters suggested that the National Assembly strengthen its supervision activities; improve the quality of questioning and answering activities, and the implementation of commitments after questioning; study the extension of the term of election of the Head of the Neighborhood Group from 2.5 years/term to 5 years/term; review the regulations on calculating household electricity prices...
After listening to voters' opinions and recommendations, leaders of the Provincial Police, the Department of Health and Tam Diep City discussed and clarified a number of issues that voters recommended under their authority, such as: ensuring security and order, traffic safety; improving the professional qualifications and ethics of medical staff and the quality of medical examination and treatment at medical facilities; and ensuring environmental sanitation in the city.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tran Thi Hong Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, respectfully thanked all opinions and recommendations from voters. She emphasized that, as a National Assembly delegate, she would accept and synthesize all legitimate opinions of voters from Residential Group 18, Bac Son Ward (Tam Diep City) for consideration and resolution by competent authorities.
