In the 2020 - 2025 term, Binh Giang Commune Party Committee completed 21/22 targets set out in the Congress Resolution, of which 16 targets were exceeded.
The Congress set out 21 targets to strive for in the 5 years 2025 - 2030, including 3 targets on Party building and political system building; 16 targets on economy, culture - society, environment; 2 targets on national defense - security.

The Congress proposed two breakthroughs: Mobilizing resources to develop agricultural and rural infrastructure; promoting the application of technology to serve concentrated, large-scale agricultural production, adapting to climate change, and reorganizing agricultural production in the area south of Highway 80 towards sustainability. Strongly applying science and technology to digital government; developing a digital society in the area to help people connect, interact and use digital services in handling administrative procedures.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint 24 comrades to join the Executive Committee of Binh Giang Commune Party Committee; 9 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Nguyen Van Dong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Giang Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
