The 1st Congress of Bum To Commune Party Committee

Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the new Executive Committee.

Comrades: Ly Cong Hau - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune; Dao Van Khanh - Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune; Po Hong Van - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune chaired the Congress.

Attending the Congress were representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches, along with 180 official delegates representing 1,029 party members in the entire Bum To commune Party Committee.

During the past term, the Party Committee of Bum To commune focused on leading and directing the overall work of building the Party and the political system, achieving many important results. The Party's directives, resolutions and conclusions were seriously implemented. The commune has promoted the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, and associated it with building and rectifying the Party, contributing to improving the qualities, morality and lifestyle of cadres and Party members.

Inspection and supervision work was carried out in accordance with the Party Charter; mass mobilization work had many innovations; the Party Committee also directed the strict implementation of the work of preventing and combating corruption and waste. The total average grain output was estimated at 1,725 tons, achieving the Resolution's target; the average food output per capita reached 147 kg/person/year; 60 hectares of fruit trees were cared for, protected, managed and developed, 121.6 hectares of medicinal plants of all kinds, etc.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of Bum To commune sets out the following main targets: Striving to achieve an average income of over 50 million VND/person/year by 2030; maintaining and improving the quality of universal preschool education standards for children from 3 to 5 years old; 100% of villages and hamlets have cultural houses, the rate of households using the national grid reaches 100%; building new rural areas meets 14/19 criteria; 90% of Party cells and Party members complete their tasks well or better; the poverty rate decreases by an average of over 5%/year; continuing to maintain political security and social order and safety in the area, creating a favorable environment for sustainable development...

At the Congress, delegates delivered speeches focusing on the following contents: Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; effectively organizing the implementation of national target programs to achieve the goal of rapid and sustainable poverty reduction; improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of regular supervision work of Party committees and the Party Committee Inspection Committee of communes to build a clean and strong Party Committee of communes...

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Bum To commune in the past term. He suggested that the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Bum To commune in the new term urgently develop working regulations and quickly put the Party's Resolution into practice. At the Congress, the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee was announced to appoint the Executive Committee of 32 comrades, the Standing Committee of 11 comrades, the Inspection Committee of 5 comrades; Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Bum To commune, term 2025 - 2030; the decision of the Party Delegation of the commune to attend the 15th Provincial Party Congress of 7 comrades. Comrade Ly Cong Hau was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune for the term 2025 - 2030; Comrade Po Hong Van was appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune; Comrade Dao Van Khanh was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune.
