These days, traveling on Highway 70 through Phong Hai and Xuan Quang communes, it is not difficult to recognize the newly erected high-voltage electric poles, their "arms" reaching high up on the mountainside. The poles have completed the wire pulling, and from afar, they look like musical scores floating in the sky.

Soon, the national electricity will circulate on those “musical staffs”, carrying the energy to promote the economic development of the province and the region. It will be the unceasing rhythm of factories, enterprises and vibrant cities filled with light.

Mr. Do Dang Khoa, Phong Hai commune - living near the location of VT01 electric pole shared: It was really fast, just a few months ago I heard about the project, then the officials were busy measuring and counting, but today I saw rows of poles erected, wires hanging over the mountain tops.

At the VT04 column location, one of the most difficult and complicated construction locations of package 1, when workers and engineers assemble the last steel bars to complete the column body, specialized equipment and vehicles are also brought into position, ready for cable tensioning and wire pulling.

The service road from the foot of the hill to the construction site is deeply marked with excavator and crane tracks. Previously, workers had to use two excavators to "guide" the 120-ton crane up the slope to the construction site.

Bringing this 120-ton crane to the construction site was truly a miracle, thanks to which the installation process was shortened by half compared to using a manual winch....

Attending the construction site are experienced officers, engineers and workers who have been involved in many key national projects from North to South.

In particular, among them are those who have just successfully completed their tasks at the 500kV Line 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi Project - one of the most important power transmission projects that was completed last year. They brought with them a strong construction spirit from the old construction site to the new project, continuing to overcome all difficulties and challenges.

Mr. Pham Van Tan, a construction supervisor engineer who was present at the 500kV circuit 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi construction site, said: "Experience from the construction of the circuit 3 project has helped us a lot in proactively developing construction plans, proactively providing means, materials, and equipment."

Deputy General Director of Song Construction and Service Joint Stock Company - Nguyen Cao Ngoc (representative of the contractor consortium) said: "The contractor consortium has brought the spirit of circuit 3 to the construction of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500 kV Transmission Line Project. Right from the starting line of the project, the contractors have worked with the spirit of overcoming the sun and rain, working during the day is not enough, taking advantage of working at night".

After completing the first wire pull from VT9 to VT16, contractors are racing to pull the wire to other locations along the route. The completion of the first wire pull is an important milestone, at the same time creating strong motivation and encouragement for other teams, groups and contractors working on the construction site, aiming to ensure the progress of the project's wire pull.

The spirit of Circuit 3 is not only the spirit of determination, but also the commitment to quality and progress. Lessons from the 500kV Circuit 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi Project have helped the construction team in Lao Cai - Vinh Yen gain valuable experience in coordinating between units, organizing scientific work and optimizing the construction process.

In package 2, the contractor arranged 12 construction teams and groups along the entire route to carry out construction simultaneously, without delay. Because the rainy season this year was expected to come early, in parallel with the foundation excavation work, the contractor had gathered equipment and materials to the locations very early. When the rain started and transportation was no longer possible, the teams already had enough materials and equipment to carry out construction.

A team of workers and engineers from all over the country met here, they “ate mountains, slept forests” worked “3 shifts, 4 shifts” to overcome all difficulties to complete the huge amount of work. Up to now, the bidding package is being implemented according to the general progress of the whole project.

Mr. Nguyen The Hien, Commander of Package No. 2, Power Construction Company No. 4, said: "This package was implemented 1 month after the other 9 packages, so we had to take advantage of favorable weather to construct regardless of day or night."

With the strong spread of the 3rd Circuit spirit, the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV Transmission Line Project is on schedule, contributing to improving the country's power transmission capacity. The workers and engineers here are not only building a power transmission project but also continuing the story of dedication, responsibility and pride of electricians.

The Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV Transmission Line Project has a total length of nearly 230 km, passing through Lao Cai and Phu Tho provinces, with a total investment of more than 7,410 billion VND. The section passing through Lao Cai province is nearly 140 km long, involving 13 communes, directly affecting about 2,200 households and 2 organizations. The total land area to be permanently recovered is over 39 hectares, 87 households must be resettled.
