The 1st Congress of Song Khua Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 was a great success.

That is the goal of the 1st Congress of Song Khua Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, which took place on July 29. Attending and directing the Congress were Major General Dang Trong Cuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, and Supervisory Delegation No. 7 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; 150 official delegates representing 1,044 Party members of the Party Committee.

The 1st Congress of Song Khua Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Song Khua commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of 4 communes: Quang Minh, Muong Te, Song Khua and Lien Hoa. After establishment, the commune has a natural area of 192.45 km² and a population of 15,859 people.

During the past term, the Party Committee, government and people of the four communes before the merger have promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness and creativity in leading, operating and effectively implementing socio-economic development programs. Up to now, the total area of fruit trees has reached 731 hectares, with an output of over 9,285 tons; the area of biomass corn is 580 hectares; the area of tea is 68.5 hectares. The total herd of cattle is nearly 30,000, the poultry herd is over 142,000; the aquatic output is about 165 tons/year. Forest coverage is 48.165%. Essential infrastructure such as transportation, schools, lighting, and domestic water works have received investment attention. Health and education work has made much progress, with 100% of villages having medical staff, the vaccination rate and health insurance cards reaching over 95%, 6/8 schools meeting national standards. The whole commune has 20/27 villages achieving the title of cultural village. Political security and social order and safety are maintained.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Song Khua Commune Party Committee has set the goal of developing a green and sustainable commune; promoting the potential for developing high-tech agriculture , community tourism, spiritual tourism, building synchronous infrastructure, promoting digital transformation, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. The goal by 2030 is that the commune will have no poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2021 - 2025; expanding the area of fruit trees to 800 hectares, corn 600 hectares, grass 250 hectares; 100% of villages have loudspeaker systems, broadband internet; building at least 1 community tourism spot, connecting to form spiritual tourism tours; forest coverage rate reaches 49.5%; 100% of administrative procedures are digitized; admitting 90 or more party members.

The Commune has identified three breakthroughs: Building an effective, efficient, creative and serving government, shifting from an administrative government to a serving government; developing infrastructure to meet the requirements of green and sustainable development; focusing on developing the application of science and technology, innovation, especially in developing spiritual tourism and applying high-tech agriculture.

Speaking at the Congress, Major General Dang Trong Cuong requested the Song Khua Commune Party Committee to strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party and political system, associated with promoting administrative reform within the Party. Focus on socio-economic development, improving people's lives. Promote comprehensive digital transformation; apply information technology in management, operation, and provision of online public services. Strengthen national defense and security, maintain social order and safety.

At the Congress, the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing the Song Khua Commune Party Delegation to attend the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, was announced.
