On the morning of January 3, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Cuong Commune (Yen Khanh District) held a Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. This is the unit selected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Khanh District to organize a model congress at the commune level.
During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Cuong commune regularly innovated the content and methods of operation, successfully implementing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2019-2024 term.
Campaigns and emulation movements are deployed with focus and key points, strongly arousing the spirit of emulation and creative labor of the people to participate in economic development, solve social problems, build new rural areas, and sustainably reduce poverty.
Over the past 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have mobilized people to donate nearly 2,900 square meters of land, contribute 4,600 working days and nearly 7 billion VND to build cultural houses in hamlets, rural roads, and intra-field canals; donated more than 670 million VND to the Gratitude and Social Security Fund of the commune; supported the construction of 10 Gratitude and Great Solidarity houses; presented more than 1,300 gifts to poor households and policy families...
Therefore, the appearance of the commune has improved a lot, the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved. The security, politics , order, social safety, national defense and military work in the area have been basically maintained; the great national unity bloc has been constantly consolidated and promoted.
In the 2024-2029 term, the Congress set out 9 specific targets, 5 key tasks and 2 breakthroughs. In particular, it focuses on innovating the content and methods of operation of the commune Fatherland Front; diversifying forms of propaganda, mobilization and gathering to build and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc; performing well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; promoting democracy, strengthening social supervision and criticism; preventing and combating corruption and waste, actively building a clean and strong Party and government; enhancing social consensus, promoting socio-economic development, maintaining and improving the quality of advanced new rural criteria, striving to become a model new rural commune.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress consulted and elected 45 comrades to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Cuong commune for the 2024-2029 term and elected an official delegation to attend the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Yen Khanh district, term 2024-2029.
