The 1st Women's Congress of Ea Tul commune, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of October 12, the Ea Tul Commune Women's Union held the 1st Congress of Women's Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the Congress were Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union Nguyen Thi Kim Dung; Deputy Secretary, Chairwoman of the Commune People's Committee Phan Thi Ly and 147 official delegates, representing more than 4,565 women members in the commune.

Ea Tul commune has 7,581 households, 34,421 people living in 35 villages and hamlets; of which, ethnic minorities account for 66.53% of the population. The Women's Union of Ea Tul commune was established on the basis of merging the Women's Unions of the communes: Ea Tar, Cu Dile M'nong, Ea Tul with 35 branches, 109 women's groups, 4,565 members.

In recent times, women in Ea Tul commune have proactively applied digital technology to improve the efficiency of the Association's activities, connect women, improve work quality, meet production and integration needs, and actively contribute to local economic growth.

The Association has organized 22 training, education, communication conferences , and improved knowledge and skills for over 4,565 female cadres and members. The whole commune has established 35 women's models of "5 no, 3 clean"; 1 club "Improving mixed gardens to grow fruit trees of ethnic minority women's households", 1 model "Composting waste into organic fertilizer".

Responding to the campaign to join hands in building new rural areas, the Association supported the construction of a "Shelter of Love" for women in difficult circumstances; presented hundreds of gifts to women in difficult circumstances, orphans and disabled children in the commune.   Every year, over 86% of member households achieve cultural family status.

Learning and following Uncle Ho's example, the Association has effectively maintained many practical and effective models such as: "Godmother", "Giving health insurance cards", "Raising piggy banks", "Women saving to help each other develop the economy", "Work exchange groups to help each other develop the economy"..., attracting a large number of female cadres and members to participate. From the competition of saving, over the past 5 years, female cadres and members of the commune have donated, organized visits to give shelters, savings books, scholarships, tuition fees, health insurance cards, supported sudden difficulties, and given gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances in the area.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ea Tul Commune Women's Union focuses on innovating content and flexible methods of operation to meet the requirements of women's development and progress tasks, for the goals of equality, progress and happiness.

The Association sets out important targets: During the term, strive to mobilize and support the establishment of at least 1 new cooperative managed by women; annually mobilize and support 2 women to start a business; support the establishment of women's groups and organizations, effectively helping 12 near-poor and disadvantaged households headed by women to escape near-poverty and have stable jobs; carry out 1 project/part of work to contribute to building Ea Tul commune to soon become a modern, civilized commune...

The Executive Committee of the Ea Tul Commune Women's Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, was introduced to the congress.

At the congress, the Presidium announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Commune Women's Union, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 45 members, the Standing Committee has 9 members. Ms. Thai Thi Anh Hoa, Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ea Tul Commune Women's Union, term 2025-2030.
