Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ngoc Son ward, term 2024 - 2029
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of January 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ngoc Son Ward (Kien An District) held its 9th Congress for the 2024-2029 term. This unit was selected as the district's model Congress. Attending the Congress were comrades: Pham Van Khanh, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Tran Duy Tuong, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Phan Luong Thuy, Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

According to the report, in the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ngoc Son ward proactively innovated the content and methods of operation, diversified the forms of gathering and uniting people of all walks of life, actively participated in Party building, Government building, strengthened supervision and social criticism. At the same time, improving the quality of campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the grassroots. Notably, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential groups" is now "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; the model "Digital mailbox - Vietnam Fatherland Front listens to people's opinions" achieved high results. In 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ngoc Son ward mobilized people to support 220 million VND to build the "For the poor" fund, supported the construction and repair of 5 houses for poor households with an amount of 180 million VND. The "Love Rice Jar" model supports 28 households/month, each household receives 10kg/month with a total of 2.8 tons of rice. To support poor households, families in difficult circumstances, people from provinces affected by natural disasters, and to support the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ward's Fatherland Front has coordinated to mobilize nearly 300 million VND in support. Member organizations support member households with preferential loans of over 18 billion VND for economic development. The poverty rate in 2023 will decrease to 0.26%....
Promoting the achieved results, in the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ngoc Son ward determines the goal of continuing to innovate the content and methods, improving the effectiveness of the Fatherland Front's activities; promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity; strengthening social consensus to contribute to building Ngoc Son ward to develop rapidly and sustainably; 100% of residential groups register and 95% or more effectively implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life; support the construction and repair of at least 05 houses for poor households, near-poor households, households with housing difficulties...
Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Son ward, term IX, 2024 - 2029.
In the spirit of solidarity, democracy and innovation, the Congress unanimously elected 31 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Son Ward for the 2024-2029 term and elected 10 delegates to attend the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district.
At the first meeting, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward consulted and elected the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, term IX, with 5 members. Ms. Dong Thi Hai Linh, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, term VIII, continued to be trusted to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, term IX.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district awarded certificates of merit to 03 collectives and 03 individuals, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngoc Son ward awarded certificates of merit to 02 collectives and 03 individuals, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward commended 02 collectives and 03 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the work of the Ward Front for the term 2019 - 2024.
