Japanese Martial Arts Performance Festival in Vietnam

The Japan Budo Demonstration Festival is a major international martial arts event organized annually by Nippon Budokan and the Japan Budo Association from 1978 to 2019 in many countries. This year, 2024, the Japan Budo Demonstration Festival will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 10, 2024, at Nguyen Du Gymnasium. This is also a special occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21, 1973 - September 21, 2023), further strengthening the friendship between the two countries.

Participating in the program, martial arts and Japanese culture lovers will have the opportunity to admire 12 martial arts from modern to classical with top performances. Participate in an in-depth workshop with Japanese martial arts masters, expand your knowledge of traditional martial arts and directly experience Japanese martial arts and Kobudo under the dedicated guidance of professional martial artists. With more than 70 Japanese officials and martial artists from 09 modern martial arts (Shinbudo) including Judo, Kendo, Kyudo, Sumo, Karatedo, Aikido, Shorinji Kempo, Naginata, Jukendo and 3 ancient martial arts (Kobudo) including Tennenrishin-ryu Kenjutsu, Muhimuteki-ryu-zyojutsu, Ryukyu-Okehiden-Motobu udundi.
