Multiple relay mechanisms
Project 939, implemented since June 30, 2017, has yielded certain results thanks to the support and assistance of women's associations at all levels in the district.
Over the past 7 years, Dai Loc district has submitted 22 high-quality ideas to the provincial-level competition; 8 individuals have won prizes (5 third prizes, 3 consolation prizes).
Several projects and startup ideas were highly rated and won awards at the national level. Many products received recognition as OCOP products and typical industrial and rural products at the district level.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hiep, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Dai Loc District, shared that during the period 2018-2024, the Women's Union of the district mobilized resources to support and assist women in starting businesses.
Specifically, the association provided 25 startup land ownership certificates and livelihood support to over 210 disadvantaged women members in need, enabling them to open businesses, develop production, and engage in other activities, totaling over 3 billion VND. The association also supported the establishment of three women-led cooperatives: Hong Van Agricultural Product Development Cooperative, Vu Gia Cooperative, and Ho Loc Cooperative.
The Women's Creative Entrepreneurship Club of Dai Loc District was established in 2022 with 18 members, many of whom have had their products widely promoted in the market...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hiep said: “The club regularly maintains activities, events, and organizes meetings and exchanges of experiences in entrepreneurship. In particular, we organized a livestream sales event to interact with the "Women Entrepreneurs" Club of Tam Ky City.”
"We are preparing the necessary facilities to conduct regular live streams selling products produced by club members. Among the club members' products, there are 7 OCOP (One Commune One Product) products; 6 club members have participated in creative idea competitions from the central to local levels and won high awards..."
According to Mr. Ho Ngoc Man, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Dai Loc is one of the first localities to establish startup support groups, and also one of the first to hold a congress to establish the District-level Creative Startup Association.
"In the coming time, the district will continue to guide and create conditions for women to participate in trade fairs and connect with consumers for OCOP products and women's startup products."

The "flowers" of the startup world
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phi Anh (born in 1983) is an outstanding example of a successful female entrepreneur, currently the owner of a purple oyster mushroom production facility in Dai Lan commune. Despite graduating with a degree in economics, Ms. Anh decided to return to her hometown to start her own business.
Drawing on her acquired knowledge and passion for research, in 2020 Ms. Anh invested in building facilities, greenhouses, and importing raw materials for producing purple oyster mushrooms. Her products are now sold in markets, dealerships, and restaurants both within and outside the province.
In 2022, Ms. Anh was guided to register for the "Creative Women's Entrepreneurship Ideas" competition at the district level and won second prize. Her business provides regular employment for 4 workers. Ms. Phi Anh has also made many contributions to local women's association activities and was recognized as an outstanding woman at the district level by the District Women's Union in 2022.
In 2019, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van received 3 million VND in support from the Women's Union of Dai Loc district, which encouraged and helped her gain more confidence on her entrepreneurial journey. Building on her original Hong Van grapefruit shampoo product, Ms. Van has also strived to create several other product lines such as lemon juice concentrate, kumquat juice concentrate, etc.
Ms. Hong Van was also introduced to participate in the "Confident Vietnamese Women in Economic Activities" competition organized by the Central Women's Union and won third prize. The Hong Van Agricultural Product Development Cooperative, with Ms. Van as its director, has made remarkable progress.
The cooperative has partnered with other entities to build a sustainable source of raw materials; fully exploiting the value of local agricultural products, processing them deeply, and bringing them to market. The cooperative has provided seasonal employment for 4 workers and achieved a revenue of 150 million VND per month.
In addition, there are several exemplary startup entrepreneurs such as Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Kieu (owner of Hong An cereal flour facility) who has provided employment for 3 seasonal workers in the locality, achieving a revenue of 650 million VND/year; Ms. Ho Thi Loc (Ho Loc Cooperative) who has provided employment for 5 workers, whose cooperative's products have been recognized as 3-star OCOP products, and whose revenue reaches 500 million VND/year…
