According to a VNA reporter in Tel Aviv, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel said that as of the morning of June 16, no Vietnamese citizens have been recorded as casualties in the recent attacks and clashes between Israel and Iran.

For three consecutive nights, from the night of June 13 to the morning of June 16, the security situation in Israel, especially in Tel Aviv and the central regions, was tense due to missile attacks and airstrikes between the two sides.

The Home Front Command of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has repeatedly sounded sirens and asked residents to take shelter in safe areas.

The Vietnamese Embassy said that immediately after tensions escalated, it activated an emergency communication channel with the Vietnamese community and coordinated with associations and groups to grasp the situation and provide timely support if necessary.

Currently, the Embassy continues to recommend that Vietnamese citizens limit unnecessary travel, avoid dangerous areas, regularly update information through official channels and stay in contact with the representative agency in case of emergency.

On the night of June 15 and early morning of June 16, Iran launched three missile strikes on cities in northern and central Israel in retaliation for attacks by the country's military.

Israel's Magen David Adom emergency organization said five people were killed and at least 87 others were injured in the latest missile attack carried out by Iran./.
