Vietnamese Embassy in Angola donates to support people to overcome storm and flood

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on October 10, the Vietnamese Embassy in Angola held a fundraising ceremony to support compatriots in the country to overcome the severe consequences caused by recent storms and floods.

The ceremony was attended by all officers and staff of the Embassy, ​​representatives of the Vietnamese Association in Angola, and the Vietnamese Business Association in Angola.

In his speech, Ambassador Duong Chinh Chuc recalled the damage caused by storms and floods in 2025, especially storms No. 10 and No. 11, and the efforts to fight storms and floods by the Central Government, local authorities, especially the military, police and people in disaster-hit areas; emphasizing the spirit of mutual love and solidarity in overcoming difficulties as an important factor in successfully overcoming difficulties and challenges.

Ambassador Duong Chinh Chuc highly appreciated each individual in the Vietnamese community in Angola, who, despite many difficulties, always turned towards their homeland and shared difficulties with their compatriots in the country; called on the staff of the Embassy, ​​the Association of Vietnamese in Angola, along with Vietnamese businessmen, organizations and individuals in Angola to continue to respond positively, proactively contribute and support.

Previously, through the fanpage and direct contact, the Vietnamese Embassy in Angola also sent an appeal to the entire Vietnamese community in Angola.
