More than 907 billion VND registered to support people affected by natural disasters and floods

As of 5:00 p.m. on October 11, individuals, units, and organizations registered to donate through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) VND 907,454 billion.

Of the more than 907 billion VND registered for support through the accounts of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, there are: 500 billion VND supported by Vingroup Corporation, which is being directly implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Thien Tam Fund - VinGroup in the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Son La, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Bac Ninh; 100 billion VND from Hanoi city transferred directly to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of localities; 2.5 billion VND from Can Tho city transferred directly to the 5 provinces of Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri.

Previously, on October 3, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front allocated the first phase to 17 provinces and cities from the central relief fund to support provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 with a total amount of 265 billion VND.

Specifically, the allocation will be 30 billion VND for each of the three provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri; 20 billion VND for each of the two provinces of Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa; 15 billion VND for each of the three provinces of Lao Cai, Phu Tho, and Tuyen Quang; 10 billion VND for each of the six provinces of Lang Son, Cao Bang , Son La, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, and Hung Yen; and 10 billion VND for each of the three cities of Hai Phong, Hue, and Da Nang.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee continues to update and publicize the list of supporting organizations and individuals on mass media.

Based on the damage situation in localities and support resources through announced accounts, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will continue to allocate support to help people in provinces affected by storms and floods overcome difficulties and soon rebuild their lives.
