Vietnamese Embassy in Austria held a memorial service on the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh

Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and delegates offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

Attending the Memorial Ceremony were Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Austria Vu Le Thai Hoang, all officers and staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in the Republic of Austria.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and the attending delegates reviewed the highlights of President Ho Chi Minh 's life and work, especially his ideology, morality, style and great contributions to the cause of national liberation, national reunification and building socialism today.

Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang chaired the memorial service for President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of his 135th birthday, organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Austria.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang informed overseas Vietnamese in Austria about the domestic situation in recent times, especially the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and recent foreign affairs activities, and the increasing role and position of Vietnam in the international community.

Discussing the Party's policies and the State's laws towards the Vietnamese community abroad, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang once again emphasized that overseas Vietnamese in general and the Vietnamese community in Austria in particular are an inseparable part of the nation. The Party and State always create the most favorable conditions to support people to live stably and legally in other countries, thereby contributing to promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people in the host country and contributing to the country's development.

Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang also informed that the National Assembly is considering and planning to pass a number of legal regulations to create more favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese to continue to retain their Vietnamese nationality and exercise their rights and obligations as citizens in a legal and legitimate manner.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and representatives of functional units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also directly answered questions from community representatives and announced activities to connect overseas Vietnamese organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the coming time.
