Colonel Hoang Long (left) was elected by delegates to hold the position of Chairman of the Association of Former Police Officers of Hue City.

Attending the congress were more than 100 delegates representing more than 500 retired police officers in Hue City. At the congress, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue City People's Council Phan Thien Dinh presented the Decision to establish the Hue City Former Police Officers Association.

At the congress, delegates listened to a report on the verification of the qualifications of delegates; a report on the activities of the Hue City Retired Police Club, the direction of activities of the Hue City Former Police Association, term 2023-2028; and a report on the personnel plan.

With the spirit of democracy, unity and solidarity, the congress voted and unanimously approved the association's direction of operation for the 2023-2028 term; elected an Executive Committee of 33 members and a Standing Committee of 11 members.

Colonel Hoang Long, former Chief of Hue City Police, was elected by delegates to hold the position of Chairman of the Hue City Former Police Association.

The establishment of the Hue City Police Veterans Association is an important event, aiming to gather and unite members who are former police officers, continue to build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern Hue City Police force, build and protect the Fatherland locally.
