The People's Committee of Dak Lak province requested 14 high schools that have just decided to change their names and operate in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 32, dated September 15, 2020 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the charter of junior high schools, high schools, and multi-level general schools and current legal regulations.

Previously, after the merger of Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces, there were 14 high schools in the East (old Phu Yen) with the same name as 14 high schools in the West of the province (old Dak Lak).

At that time, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province advised the People's Committee of this province to decide to name the above schools with number 1 (for schools in the West) and number 2 (for schools in the East).

However, with this renaming decision, 14 high schools in the East of Dak Lak will be reverted to their old names. High schools in the West of Dak Lak will have the number 1 added at the end.
