On March 27th, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training announced that one outstanding student from the province has been selected for the national team to participate in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad.
Previously, at the National Team Selection Exam for the 2025 International and Regional Olympiads organized by the Ministry of Education and Training from March 25-27 in Hanoi , Vo Thanh Hai, a 12th-grade student from Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted in Dak Lak province, excellently qualified for the national team to participate in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad.
"The school, teachers, and students are very proud of the outstanding achievement that Vo Thanh Hai has just attained. Although he comes from a mountainous province, through three days of intense competition, Hai has proven his qualities, abilities, and confidence. This achievement also affirms the important role of teacher Le Quang Nhan in teaching and guiding students to access knowledge in Informatics," shared Mr. Nguyen Dang Bong, Principal of Nguyen Du Specialized High School.
According to Dr. Do Tuong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province, this is the fourth time students from Dak Lak have achieved this accomplishment.
Dr. Do Tuong Hiep emphasized that Vo Thanh Hai's achievement today is not only a source of joy for the provincial education sector but also a motivation for students in mountainous areas to be confident, overcome difficulties, and conquer the heights of knowledge.
Previously, in the 2024-2025 National High School Excellent Student Selection Examination, student Vo Thanh Hai also excellently won first prize in Informatics.
