Sharing the joy and new responsibilities of the whole country, on the morning of July 1, 34 communes and wards in the eastern region of Dak Lak province officially came into operation, marking a historic turning point of the two-level local government in the new era, the era of the nation's rise. Since early morning, many people of Phu Yen ward have come to the ward office in indescribable joy. Like many other people, from 7:30 this morning, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Phan in Hoa Thanh commune, old Dong Hoa town (now Phu Yen ward) was present at the ward headquarters to do land procedures which according to her have been delayed for more than ten years, now being explained and guided in detail by staff of the ward's Public Administration Service Center .
Mrs. Phan was overjoyed and excitedly told the reporter: "My family's land records have not been processed for more than ten years, but when I came to the new ward, they explained very clearly. I found that the new staff here did a very good job, guiding me to the right place, then returning to the ward to resolve the issue immediately in accordance with the law."
Also in the old Hoa Thanh commune, Mr. Vo Thanh Minh only took about 10 minutes to complete all the necessary procedures, happily leaving with a feeling of excitement. “The new ward is very spacious, beautiful, and clean. When people come, the officials ask very specific and clear questions, welcome them warmly and thoughtfully, and handle the procedures quickly and neatly. I hope that in the future, the officials will serve the people more enthusiastically in a way that benefits the people more,” said Mr. Minh.
Phu Yen Ward was established on the basis of merging Phu Dong, Phu Lam, Phu Thanh wards of Tuy Hoa city; part of Hoa Thanh commune, Hoa Hiep Bac ward of Dong Hoa town; part of Hoa Binh 1 commune of Tay Hoa district. The new ward has a natural area of 44.04 km 2 and a population of 61,799 people.
On the morning of July 1, the People's Council of Phu Yen ward, term I, 2021-2026, held its first session, marking the new historical mission of the people's representative in the new era.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Canh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Ward, said that in order to serve the goal of economic, social and cultural development, focusing on building a clean, strong and effective public administration, the staff of civil servants and public employees of specialized departments must make every effort to complete procedures within the prescribed time. Currently, the ward's facilities are basically sufficient for operations; the online public service system is also guaranteed to be continuous and uninterrupted.
Answering a reporter's question about the activities at the Public Administration Service Center on the first day of July 1 not being really organized and not being very professional, Mr. Canh said: "In the near future, the staff and civil servants serving public administration will be organized for further training to improve their capacity to receive and return results to citizens and organizations; at the same time, continue to study legal regulations to properly implement the decentralization from the Central to the grassroots level. For local authorities, we will always listen to and absorb all reasonable opinions from the people as well as staff and civil servants to make the apparatus operate most effectively, serving the people and businesses best.
The new Phu Yen ward is named after the place name Phu Yen, associated with the history of reclaiming this land for more than 410 years. According to Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan, the establishment and naming of Phu Yen ward meets the wishes of many local officials and people. This is a central ward located in the south of Ba River, with an area scale that ensures development space and is oriented to form VSIP industrial park, creating momentum for socio-economic development in the eastern region.
In the spirit of the slogan "four pleases" which are "hello", "sorry", "thank you", "permission" and "four alwayss" which are "always smile", "always be gentle", "always understand", "always help", we hope that Phu Yen ward, Dak Lak province will be a commune-level administrative unit that is truly close to the people, of the people, operating effectively, efficiently and effectively for the people.
According to the reporter's records, in 34 communes and wards in the east of Dak Lak province on July 1, all production and business activities took place normally.
