In the first 9 months of 2025, the province's GRDP (at 2010 comparable prices) is estimated to reach VND 67,835.5 billion, equal to 65.5% of the yearly plan and an increase of 6.9% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector reached 18,158.5 billion VND, up 5.39%; industry - construction reached 15,154.6 billion VND, up 9.34%; services reached 29,476.9 billion VND, up 7.22%; product tax minus product subsidy reached 2,916.2 billion VND, up 0.96% over the same period last year.

The economic growth picture for the first 9 months shows that the service sector continues to play a leading role, contributing 3.36 percentage points to the growth rate of the total added value of the entire economy. Of which, the wholesale and retail sector increased by 7.8%, contributing 0.78 percentage points; activities of the Party and socio-political organizations increased by 11.1%, contributing 0.41 points; education and training increased by 6.91%, contributing 0.39 points; finance - banking - insurance increased by 6.37%, contributing 0.37 points; accommodation and catering services increased by 9.42%, contributing 0.35 percentage points...
The industrial and construction sector continued to surpass the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector, ranking second in growth rate with an increase of 9.34%, contributing 2.04 percentage points. Of which, the industrial sector increased sharply by 10.68%, contributing 1.51 points; notably, electricity production and distribution increased by 13.42%, contributing 0.98 percentage points - thanks to favorable weather conditions, abundant water resources for hydropower plants and stable operation of wind and solar power projects.
The processing and manufacturing industry grew more slowly, contributing only 0.45 points due to the impact of raw material prices, increased transportation costs and a declining import-export market. The mining industry increased by 7.08%, contributing 0.03 points; water supply and waste treatment increased by 9.93%, contributing 0.04 points. The construction industry alone increased by 6.91%, lower than the general growth rate of the region, due to many projects facing difficulties in capital and site clearance.
The agriculture, forestry and fishery sector still plays a supporting role in the economy , contributing 1.46 percentage points to the overall growth rate. Of which, agriculture increased by 5.61%, contributing 1.25 percentage points. Thanks to favorable weather, the area, productivity and output of crops all increased; in particular, the prices of pepper, cashew, coffee and durian remained high, helping farmers stabilize their income and increase the value of their products. Forestry and fishery continued to grow steadily, but were still affected by the high costs of agricultural materials, fertilizers and animal feed.

At current prices, the province's GRDP is estimated at 142,730.5 billion VND, reaching 62.26% of the yearly plan. Of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector accounts for 29.66%, the industry - construction sector accounts for 20.51%, the service sector accounts for 46.67%, and product taxes minus product subsidies account for 4.3%.
According to the report of Dak Lak Provincial Statistics Office, the economic structure of the province in the past two years has been generally stable, the service sector continues to account for the highest proportion; while the agricultural sector remains a solid support for growth.
Dak Lak is focusing on restructuring agriculture towards sustainability and applying high technology, considering this a key task to maintain stable growth, improve competitiveness and create a solid foundation for socio-economic development of the whole province in the coming time.
