As of the evening of October 6, Cau Thia ward had completed the emergency evacuation of 48 households in areas at high risk of landslides and flash floods to pre-arranged safe shelters.
Along with the evacuation of people, valuable assets of these households were also moved to a safe place by support forces.

Response work is being deployed very urgently according to the "four on-the-spot" motto.
Authorities have temporarily fixed some small landslides, ensuring traffic is not disrupted.
At all key, high-risk locations, the ward has assigned leaders and commanders to directly post and be on duty 24/7 to closely monitor developments and be ready to direct and handle any arising situations.
Ms. Hoang Thi Ly - Chairman of Cau Thia Ward People's Committee said: "The number one priority now is the safety of the people. We have activated all response plans. For the remaining households on the risk list, the ward is closely monitoring the rainfall, if the situation continues to worsen, we will resolutely organize immediate evacuation."

Currently, the entire force of more than 1,000 people along with equipment and vehicles are still maintained at the highest state of readiness. The proactive, decisive spirit and the synchronous participation of the entire political system of Cau Thia ward are helping to control the situation well, determined to minimize the damage caused by floods.
