Attending the launching ceremony were: Comrade Dieu K'Re, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; and 350 youth union members and young people.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen reiterated President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees; for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people."

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen emphasized that tree planting and reforestation play a crucial role in the context of increasingly complex environmental pollution and climate change.
Planting and caring for trees is an important task and a responsibility of the entire society. The People's Committee of Dak Nong province calls on all sectors of the population to participate in tree planting and reforestation.

Dak Nong province holds a strategically important position in terms of national security and defense. Therefore, reforestation plays an even more crucial role.
Over the years, forest area in Dak Nong has declined in both size and quality. Forest planting and protection efforts have not yielded the desired results. The forest cover rate has increased, but not significantly.
Therefore, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province wishes and calls upon all levels, sectors, and the entire population to raise awareness of environmental protection, actively plant and protect trees, and protect forests.

“The People's Committee of Dak Nong province hopes that the image and spirit of the launching ceremony will be a new and positive source of energy for the tree planting and reforestation movement in the province. This will contribute positively to building a comprehensively and sustainably developed Dak Nong province,” Mr. Yen emphasized.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates began planting trees. 1,000 pine trees were planted in the grounds surrounding the N'Trang Lơng Monument.

Also on the morning of May 19th, departments, agencies, and localities in Dak Nong simultaneously launched tree planting campaigns in response to the opening ceremony. During the tree planting festival, it is expected that more than 163,000 trees will be planted throughout Dak Nong province.
