Agribank's Tay Quang Ninh branch currently has 16 ATMs and CDMs installed in various locations throughout the province. To meet the needs of the people during the Tet holiday season, the unit has focused on ensuring the continuous operation of the ATM and CDM system. This includes proactively reviewing and maintaining all ATMs and CDMs, upgrading software, infrastructure, and equipment to minimize errors; and assigning staff to man the hotline to receive information and provide support to customers in case of any problems. In addition, the unit proactively replenishes cash 1-2 times a week or 4-5 times a week based on the daily transaction volume. Simultaneously, all transaction offices of Agribank's Tay Quang Ninh branch are actively preparing contingency plans. These include installing automatic text messaging devices to notify the cash replenishment department when the machine is running low on cash, and publicly displaying complete instructions for use and the customer support phone number at each ATM location for customers to contact when needed.

The province currently has 429 ATMs and CDMs, and 3,651 POS machines installed in retail establishments, distribution chains, hotels, and restaurants. The State Bank of Vietnam's Regional Branch 6 has issued a directive to banks to ensure ATM operational safety and improve service quality. Simultaneously, the hotline number of the State Bank of Vietnam's Regional Branch 6 has been publicly announced to receive reports of violations and security breaches. Based on this, banks in the province have strengthened supervision and protection to ensure the safety of assets at their headquarters, branches, and ATM locations; assigned healthy and skilled security personnel to handle situations, ensuring they remain on duty and perform their tasks correctly; and developed security plans and plans to prevent intrusion and robbery in all forms. Regularly inspect and review the cash vault and security equipment, especially surveillance cameras and recording devices, to ensure there are no malfunctions or issues that prevent the retrieval of footage when needed.

Banks are also strengthening fire prevention and control measures at their offices, cash vaults, transaction counters, branches, and ATM locations, especially before and after Tet (Lunar New Year). Simultaneously, they are reviewing, inspecting, and maintaining ATMs to ensure service quality; monitoring ATM cash reserves to ensure timely replenishment and meet the increased transaction demand during the Tet period; and promptly addressing any incidents, complaints, or customer inquiries. Banks with ATMs in densely populated industrial zones with high cash withdrawal demand are also organizing various flexible payment and disbursement methods, while ensuring safety to avoid overloading.

In addition, banks also assign staff to closely monitor cash reserves at ATMs to handle any arising situations, proactively develop appropriate cash plans to ensure timely fulfillment of demand in terms of value and denomination structure, and closely monitor revenue and expenditure to ensure full compliance. At the same time, they instruct bank staff to strictly adhere to operational procedures, enhance their service spirit and awareness towards businesses and the public, and strictly comply with regulations on security and safety.

Furthermore, banks are investing heavily in expanding automated transaction points with many advanced features, effectively supporting a variety of smart services for the people, such as Onebank of Nam A Bank, M.Digi Bank of MSB, etc. These transaction points are prioritized in terms of technology, regularly updating new features, ensuring safety and security, and strengthening infrastructure and personnel. This reduces the burden on transactions at traditional ATMs and CDMs, ensuring smooth payments and contributing to a warm and joyful Tet holiday for the people in the province.
