Skilled Civil Affairs at the 2nd Mechanized Reconnaissance Company

In recent years, the 2nd Mechanized Reconnaissance Company, Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command has focused on implementing well the mass mobilization work with many specific and practical actions, associated with the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", building "Good mass mobilization unit", contributing to strengthening the trust and image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people, building a politically strong locality.

Closely connected with the people

We recently had the opportunity to follow the officers and soldiers of the 2nd Mechanized Reconnaissance Company, the Provincial Military Command, on a field trip to the people of Do Vinh ward, thereby feeling more clearly their spirit of "Serving the people". During the 3 working days, the officers and soldiers of the unit coordinated with the Party Committee, the government and the people to dredge, collect garbage, clear bushes, clear the flow of 2km of intra-field ditches to serve agricultural production; clean village roads and alleys, and consolidate the green, bright and beautiful landscape. Under the scorching sun, sweat soaked their shirts, the young soldiers still worked enthusiastically. Soldier Mang Chuong shared: "Being able to help people with my teammates, I feel very happy and proud. Although the work is small, it has contributed to strengthening the military-civilian relationship, beautifying the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people!". Soldier Ca Ron Duy confided: “Directly participating in mass mobilization work, I clearly feel the duty of a soldier not only on the training ground, but also to be close to and help people in daily life. This is a valuable experience that helps us deeply perceive the spirit of responsibility, love, and close attachment to the people…”.

During this operation, the unit also propagated and mobilized people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, focusing on the Road Traffic Law and the Law on Military Service, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety. Captain Nguyen Anh Viet - Political Commissar of the 2nd Mechanized Reconnaissance Company emphasized: "Every officer and soldier when doing mass mobilization is clearly aware of their responsibility and affection for the people. Through specific activities, we wish to contribute to building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, consolidating the grassroots political system, maintaining the "people's hearts" position, creating a strong belief to successfully complete national defense and military tasks". The unit also organized visits, encouragement, and gifts for a number of policy families. With warm and affectionate tasks, they have enhanced the close relationship between the army and the people.

Building a "Good Civil Service Unit"

The recent march was just one of many activities responding to the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", building a "Good mass mobilization unit" in the period of 2021 - 2025 of the Mechanized Reconnaissance Company 2. The Party Cell and the Company Command always thoroughly grasp the resolutions and directives of the superiors; focus on leadership and direction to build determination and high sense of responsibility for officers and soldiers; combine skillful mass mobilization work with training tasks and combat readiness.

Officers and soldiers actively help people dredge canals in the fields.

Over the past 5 years, officers and soldiers of the unit have participated in nearly 500 working days to help localities and people build infrastructure and produce labor. Of which, the unit has poured more than 500m of concrete roads; renovated, repaired, and cleared over 5km of inter-village and inter-commune roads; dredged nearly 1,000m of intra-field canals in Thuan Bac commune. In Bao An ward and Do Vinh ward, the unit coordinated to clear and clean 5km of roads and 2km of G2 canal bank; planted over 200 trees. On holidays and Tet, the unit mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers to clean martyrs' memorials and historical sites in the area...

Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the unit sent 20 officers and soldiers to spend dozens of working days building houses for households in difficult circumstances. The Company's Youth Union sponsored 3 students in particularly difficult circumstances in the area. Carrying out the work of gratitude, the unit organized visits and presented 30 gifts to policy families and meritorious people; contributed more than 11.6 million VND to the "Repaying gratitude" Fund. In addition, the unit also contributed nearly 12 million VND to the Temporary House Elimination Fund, nearly 10 million VND to the "Rice Jar for the Poor" model... The unit promoted coordination with Party committees, authorities, educational and training establishments, and sister units in the area to organize legal propaganda for students; Participate in the activity “Spring in Zone 5 solidarity - Tet warms the army and people's affection” in ethnic minority areas… During Tet, officers and soldiers organize to repair and decorate houses for lonely elderly people, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of the people.

With the motto "Where the people need, there are soldiers", the meaningful and practical work in the mass mobilization work of the 2nd Mechanized Reconnaissance Company has contributed significantly to strengthening the people's trust, building a politically strong locality; at the same time demonstrating the sense of responsibility and determination of the collective of cadres and soldiers. The tradition of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" of the unit will continue to be promoted, creating a foundation to build a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary model", contributing with the provincial armed forces to build an increasingly solid defense area.
