Hon Dat Commune Party Committee held a congress for the 2025 - 2030 term

On August 19 and 20, the Party Committee of Hon Dat commune (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030. Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Vo Minh Hoang attended and directed the congress.

The Congress set out a number of targets to strive for in the 5 years 2025 - 2030: Total state budget revenue reaches 286 billion VND; the average annual growth rate of total product value in the area reaches 10%; total social investment capital in the period 2026 - 2030 reaches 4,332 billion VND; total rice output reaches 1,365,000 tons.

During the term, the average income per capita in the area by 2030 will reach 88 million VND/year. By 2030, the multidimensional poverty rate will decrease to less than 1%; the rate of schools meeting national standards will reach 80%; there will be 10 doctors/10,000 people and 30 hospital beds/10,000 people; and a drug-free commune will be built.

Speaking at the congress, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Vo Minh Hoang requested the Party Committee of Hon Dat commune to continue to promote the building and rectification of the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects. The commune needs to have a correct and complete understanding of the position, role, potential and opportunities in the overall new development space of the province and the region to renew its thinking, vision and identify breakthrough tasks for development.

Focus on developing culture, society, and people in harmony with economic development, ensuring social security. Restructuring the economy on the basis of maximizing existing potential and strengths. At the same time, establishing a sustainable economic growth model based on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; promoting economic restructuring towards sustainable agriculture - trade - services.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint 29 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Hon Dat commune; 11 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the commune for the 2025 - 2030 term. Comrade Duong Minh Tam was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Hon Dat commune for the 2025 - 2030 term.
