Attending the ceremony were comrades: Vi Duc Tho, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Dinh Thi Bich Thao, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; members of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers (TNXP) and union members and youth of Mai Son commune.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence. In front of the heroic martyrs, Son La youth vowed to continue the tradition, train, study, work, and contribute to building a rich and civilized homeland.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union presented gifts to the Association of Former Youth Volunteers and former Youth Volunteers attending the program, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the attention of all levels and sectors for the great contributions of the Youth Volunteers through the ages.
The memorial ceremony is an occasionto educate revolutionary traditions, arouse patriotism and dedication in the young generation; at the same time, affirm the special role of the Youth Volunteer Force in the history of the struggle to protect and build the Fatherland.
