On the evening of June 18 in Bahrain, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team (ranked 56th in the world ) under the leadership of coach Tran Dinh Tien played the opening match of Group D, facing the New Zealand team (ranked 57th in the world).

Continuing to excel, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team won overwhelmingly 25/15 against New Zealand in game 3, closing out the overall victory with a score of 3-0.

Thus, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team has early won a ticket to the quarterfinals of the AVC Nations Cup 2025. At 8:30 p.m. tomorrow, coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team will play the final match of Group D, facing the Korean team (ranked 25th in the world). The match is important to determine the first and second place in the group.
