Phase 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship taking place in Ninh Binh witnessed an exciting and dramatic competition in the men's category while the women's category was soon decided.

In yesterday's competition, the defending champion Border Defense team won a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the host LPBank Ninh Binh. Winning 1 point against Border Defense team helped LPBank Ninh Binh rekindle the hope of reaching the semi-finals of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.

The situation of the men's category as of today (October 9) is as follows: 3 teams have officially won tickets to the semi-finals: Ho Chi Minh City Police (17 points), Border Guard (16 points), The Cong Tan Cang (12 points). 3 teams LPBank Ninh Binh (7 points), Da Nang (7 points), Sanest Khanh Hoa (6 points) are fiercely competing for the remaining ticket. In which, the home team LPBank Ninh Binh has the biggest advantage when facing the weaker opponent Tay Ninh in the last match while Sanest Khanh Hoa has to fight with Da Nang.

In the women's category, the Information Corps Club won an impressive 3-1 victory over LPBank Ninh Binh, thus winning the last ticket to the semi-finals, along with LPBank Ninh Binh, VTV Binh Dien Long An , and the Industrial and Commercial Bank. This result also left Duc Giang Chemical Club sadly out of the semi-finals of the 2025 national championship.

Today (October 9), the 2025 National Volleyball Championship takes place with the following matches: Cong Thuong Bank vs Thanh Hoa (12:00, women), Sanest Khanh Hoa vs Da Nang (14:30, men), Thai Binh vs Information Corps (17:30, women), The Cong Tan Cang vs Hanoi (20:00).
