National volleyball tournament schedule today: Determining semi-final pairs

Today (October 10) in Ninh Binh, the 2025 National Volleyball Championship took place in the final round of phase 2 to determine the final ranking of the qualifying round, thereby knowing the matches of the semi-finals.

In the men's category of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, the three teams that have entered the semi-finals are currently determined to be Ho Chi Minh City Police, Border Guard, and Tan Cang The Cong. The remaining ticket is the competition between Sanest Khanh Hoa (9 points) and LPBank Ninh Binh (7 points).

The advantage belongs to the home team because Sanest Khanh Hoa Club has played all its matches while LPBank Ninh Binh will play its last match at 8pm today, facing Tay Ninh team. A big win (3-0 or 3-1) against Tay Ninh will help LPBank Ninh Binh get a ticket to the semi-finals and this is a likely possibility because the home team is rated higher.

At 2:30 p.m., the "big battle" for the top spot in the men's category took place between the Ho Chi Minh City Police (17 points) and the Border Guard (16 points). The match between the two leading candidates for the championship title promises to be very exciting because both teams want to assert their position, in which the Border Guard is the defending champion and the Ho Chi Minh City Police is a rookie who has just been promoted this season. The winning team will be ranked first in the qualifying round, facing the fourth-ranked team (most likely LPBank Ninh Binh ) in the first semi-final, while the losing team will be ranked second in the group, meeting The Cong Tan Cang in the other semi-final.

Currently, the Industrial and Commercial Bank team has secured fourth place while the positions of the remaining three teams will be determined after today's matches. VTV Binh Dien Long An Club will face Duc Giang Chemicals at 12:00 while LPBank Ninh Binh Club will face Ho Chi Minh City at 17:30. VTV Binh Dien Long An and LPBank Ninh Binh are likely to win when facing opponents that are considered weaker.
